PEPTIDE DOSE
DRAW SYRINGE TO
Your Peptide Calculator helps you determine the correct volume to draw into your syringe after reconstituting your peptide with bacteriostatic water.
Step 1: Enter Your Desired Dose (Ex: 5mg)
Select or enter the peptide dose you wish to research, expressed in milligrams (mg). If the amount you need is not one of the available selections, click the "other" button, then input the desired amount (ex: .75) and click "submit."
Step 2: Enter the content of the Peptide Vial (Eg 10mg)
Select or enter the total amount of peptide in your vial. If the amount you need is not one of the available selections, click the "other" button, then input the desired amount (ex: 100) and click "submit."or example: 5mg, 10mg, 15mg, or 30mg).
Step 3: Enter the Diluent Amount (amount of water)
Input the amount of bacteriostatic water used to reconstitute the peptide (for example: 1mL, 2mL, or 5mL).Type the peptide dose you wish to administer, expressed in micrograms (mcg) or milligrams (mg), depending on the calculator settings. If the amount you need is not one of the available selections, click the "other" button, then input the desired amount (ex: .3.5ml) and click "submit."
Step 4: View Your Results
The calculator will instantly display:
• The amount of peptide per unit on an insulin syringe
• The exact syringe units needed for your selected dose
• The corresponding volume in milliliters (mL)
Example: If you reconstitute a 10mg peptide vial with 1mL of bacteriostatic water and want a 5mg dose:
Peptide concentration = 10mg/mL
Required dose = 5mg (5000mcg)
Syringe draw = 50 (50 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe)
Important Notes
Always verify your calculations before administration.
Use sterile technique when reconstituting and handling peptides.
This calculator is intended as an educational and measurement tool only.
*Consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding dosing, administration, and medical use of any peptide product.
Accurate reconstitution and measurement help ensure consistent dosing and minimize waste, making peptide administration simpler and more precise.
To convert milligrams (mg) to micrograms (mcg), multiply the milligram value by 1,000.
Formula:
mcg = mg × 1,000
Quick Shortcut:
Since you are multiplying by 1,000, you can simply move the decimal point three places to the right.
